Over the last couple of weeks, choir, your scores have made a dramatic improvement - whatever you're having can you let me know! Well done choir, still second on the leaderboard (at time of posting). C'mon, Phil, you can't let choir get away with that!
Johana, thank you for tipping me off about "Pillars Of The Earth" by Ken Follet. Found a copy earlier this week and, just a couple of days later, I'm 200 pages in. Thoroughly enjoying it - it's spot on and right up my street!

I have no idea Prags - made some lucky guesses. I have read that book it is excellent. C.J. Samson writes historical novels - the Shardlake series set in the reign of Henry Vlll are brilliant. The first is set in York and I could really relate to it as many of the streets and buildings were so familiar to me.

May you enjoy the whole trilogy, which may segue into his older historical novel , "a place called freedom"

Thanks, choir, I've made a note of that one and that Ken Follet one from johana. I'm not an avid reader as I get little spare time, but I like the occasional book on a rainy day. I have a list of his books johana, and can see others in the Kingsbridge series, so will investigate more!
Can I also just let you know that, for some odd reason, messages and comments from the Triviala site have ceased to come to me via email. It's a real nuisance but means I can easily miss comments. I visit my current quiz each day, and my message box, but it's difficult to keep up with messages left on past quizzes.
